ABOUT
What we once knew as dragon Armori were actually the Dracori. They are a draconic species that that can be tamed and controlled, but they are much harder to do so than their Armori counterparts. Dracori will only serve those they consider worthy.
- - - - -
Dracori are dragon humanoids that are natural born fighters and master sword dancers.
They all have an innate attraction to power, and their greed knows no bounds when it comes to treasure.
Dracori hunger for treasure because they consume precious gemstones and crystals to use their dragonfire, and are vehemently loyal to those who can provide them with such. (Lantern Dracori do not need to consume precious gems to use their dragonfire.)
Their dragonfire is combined with the ashes and/or bones of an animal, which is then forged into a weapon called Armori.
Armoris are weapon spirits created when those weapons are brought to life.
Armoris will listen to the owner of the dragonfire used to create them. (Alpha hierarchy)

DRACORI DATA
LANTERN DRACORI:
Lantern Dracori are the strongest of the Dracori. They are the imperial and celestial weapons, and are able to summon or create a weapon from their dragonfire, this is what makes them so valuable and coveted by rulers and fighters in general. They're an incredible asset to any team and are known to be able to turn the tides in war. Lantern Dracori often carry lanterns with their dragonfire burning inside. The dragonfire is contained in a burning pearl that is unique to the Dracori it belongs to. There are also some Lantern Dracori that prefer to let their dragonfire pearls float freely without lanterns. This is discouraged, however, because the lantern offers extra protection for their dragonfire.
They are the strongest of fighters, and the added strength of one Lantern Dracori can turn the tides of war in favor of their wielders or owners. Lantern Dracori are also capable of creating their own armies of Armoris, however, the crafting process is extremely difficult and takes a toll on them. Dracori are left extremely weak and vulnerable for a time after smithing an Armori until their dragonfire is able to replenish itself. Because of this, Lantern Dracori often hunt and kill other Lantern Dracori for their dragonfire.
Lantern Dracori are extremely volatile and dangerous. They can turn on their owners if their owners are not strong enough or show signs of weakness. They are naturally drawn to those with power and potential, and it is hard to gain their trust. Once gained, however, Lantern Dracori are extremely loyal and will serve those they are contracted to as long as the terms of the contract continue to be fulfilled.

NORMAL DRACORI:
Normal Dracori are different from Lantern Dracori, as they do not possess dragonfire. They can only obtain and use dragonfire when they consume precious or rare gemstones specific to their type or faction. They are also unable to summon or create their own weapons and have to use weapons that were created for them.
Normal Dracori generally pair very well with Armoris. They partner up like they were made to fight together. If the Armori was created by the dragonfire from their faction, the Dracori is able to control them much easier than if they were created with dragonfire from a different faction. These Dracori can lead a team of Armoris easily, like a Captain or Leader.
They are natural fighters, but many of them also do other jobs such as: working in the market, alchemy, medicine, etc. Dracori are usually hired by their skills, and because they are able to defend if attacked. There are some, however, that prefer peace and do not fight.
DRACORI TRAITS
HORNS - commonly resemble antlers but can be unique to each individual Dracori

ARMORI DATA
Armoris are cursed weapons and tools that are used by others. They can be broken down into two types: Animalia and Minima. Animalia Armoris are cursed to turn into animal form when exhausted, and will turn into their humanoid forms when the wielder or owner pulls on the tassel or weapon attached to their collars. Minima Armoris are cursed to turn small or pocket-sized when exhausted. They regain their humanoid forms when the wielder or owner unsheathes their tiny weapons. Both Animalia and Minima Armoris are most vulnerable when in these forms.
Armoris are forged through the combination of a Dracori’s dragonfire and animal ashes or bones. They are “heartless” with holes in the middle of their chests to represent the fact that they aren’t fully human. The curse can be broken and the hole can be filled and replaced with a heart if the Armori falls in love or becomes strong enough to prevent themselves from turning back into their Animalia or Minima forms. If an Armori’s weapon breaks during battle, the Armori dies, and cannot be brought back to life.
ROGUE ARMORI
Rogue Armori are Armori that have become corrupted. Though Armori are inherently good, they can be easily influenced if they are betrayed or owned by bad people. Over time, their blood darkens to black, and their eyes fade to black. Rogue Armori can be recognized most easily by their black scleras. Their holes are also gone, but replaced with black veins that center from their hearts and travel outward. They are ruthless killing machines with bloodlust for power and destruction. Rogue Armoris can wield other Armoris, like Dracoris and humans.

MYUU DATA
Myuu are the feral counterparts of Dracoris. They are often used as apprentices, servants, familiars and pets. Some Myuu are more feral than others, and are unable to speak the human tongue. At the same time, others are more human, and behave as such. These Myuu will also take on normal human jobs. Their feral instincts are always strong, however, and can take over when they’re tempted with gems or treasure. Myuu will get extremely hungry and will do anything to eat them - which can make them very easy to manipulate. They will follow anyone who is able to provide them with gems of any quality.
